Project/Activity brief and purpose:
The main purpose of this project is to implement a pre-designed intensified public information campaign aimed at sensitizing communities and deepening their understanding of the DDR programme in Blue Nile State. With a focus on the economic and social reintegration aspects of the DDR programme, as well as the Community Security and Small Arms Control programme, the campaign will contribute to promoting peaceful coexistence between receiving communities and ex‐combatants, and enhance community security.
Key activities:
Development of key messages for the campaign; Design and production of outreach materials; production and broaadcasting of radio programmes (PSA’s, Drama, News maagzine, etc.); training of outrerach workers; fielding outreach workers and delivery of outreach activities; assesing information levels of communities’ and identifying information gaps/misinformation.
